2003 Honda Civic lx 1.7l starts rough but dies after idling up
So i bought a 2003 honda civiclx 1.7l manual, the check engine light was one for 0141 code for upstream o2 sensor, so i bought both and then i get a code for cam sensor so replaced that sensor. Car cold will start rough idle up and then slowing stumble and die. I have a buddy that has a shop and took it to him. they found intake leak and replaced the gaskets, he aslo replaced the IAC with a honda one due to 227k on car. did the idle relearn, and said the car was good. 5 hours later we picked up the car and it started rough but cleared up really quick but then died. Car started back up and ran fine that night. Next morning car would do samething start rough and then idle up good and slowly come down and stumble and die. Car is starting out in open loop and then after 3 cycles of 20 second runs it says its in closed loop and coolant temp says 100 degrees or better. another relearn was tried last night and now the car will not start or if ti does it lides at 200 rpms for like 2 seconds and dies.
I have a VERY similar issue. Replaced the Idle Control Valve, New ignition coils, and Fuel pump Assembly. Car has a rough time starting. Have to give it gas and it ends up starting but idles ROUGH. Sounds like it’s misfiring and maybe off timed? No check engine lights.
