I am new to scooters. I have more experience with old cars than scooters. I have two Elites CH80. Neither one is complete. One has most of the fairing but not all. The other one is totally naked. The naked one I got for free the other one was $80 so not much invested. I have a few questions:
I pulled the engine from one got it on the workbench and took it apart. I didn't notice any damage but I tested the head with liquid and the valves were not sealing. If this was car engine I would send the head to a machine shop for a valve job. This course of action seems like overkill for something this size. What do you all suggest to get the valves to seat properly.
I want to test the second engine see if it turns over. How do you test the engine on the bench?
BTW i am a complete idiot when it comes to electronics. These scooters don't have a kick start so it makes it more difficult for me,
