Recently finished a b18b1 swap into a 1992 civic dx hatch, have spent many hours searching and trying to fix this issue.

none of the buttons to direct the air do anything when pressed (including light up) and the blower motor does turn on when turned on with the climate control unit. I have checked all the grounds like g201 and g401, have also checked every fuse/relay multiple times with a multimeter and everything checks out. the white back light for both the defrost and climate control turn on but when pressing buttons on the climate control unit it makes the backlight flicker or turn off. also replaced the climate control panel to a known working one.

any help would be great
