Does the '99 HOnda Accord have a rubber oil pan gasket or does it have liquid gasket?
Honda Accord, 1999 EX, four door sedan
When I picked up my car from the transmission shop, after they rebuilt it, they said I had an oil pan gasket leak. I am definitely leaking oil. So, now that I am a member here, I did some research and have found some disagreement as to whetther my car even has a rubber gasket to replace or if you are supposed to use a liquid gasket part #08718-0009. I want to know before I call the reapir shops because they have proved recently they don't understand my car very well.
Also how many hours labor are we talking about here? Some repairs I read about here seemed enormously complicated, others relatively simple.
Thank you,
Carole

Thank you. That’s a great link. It’s a liquid composite.
