My girl just got a 93 Hatch DX and she is complaining about not having a tach and she doesn't want a huge goofy looking one so I am thinking about getting her like a an SI gauge cluster or maybe an ex cluster.

Would this just be a plug in instalation or would I have to modify wiring? If not which cluster will work.?

 

Yes, they will just swap right out, plug and play. Of course the odometer and redline will be different.

 

No extra wiring. Just unplug your old one and plug in the new one with tach. If you want the redline to match use an LX cluster with tach.

Oh yeah if you want the mileage to match you can swap the speedometer portion of the cluster from your old cluster to the new one. Its three screws.
