'01 CRV, cold start rough idle. can stall.
2001 CRV, 4wd.
Run's perfectly when air temp is above 50F - 60F
Morning rough start, rougher idle. Engine shakes. Pressing the accelerator pedal doesn't change RPM. RPM very low. Sometimes stalls out.
Spark plugs all covered in carbon. Looks like some oil getting up into ignition coils.
Code: P0420; some O2 issue. Put in new up/down stream sensors.
Tried turning the key several times to just allow the fuel pump to get pressure in line. No real difference.
Clean throttle body & IAC. No difference.
Previous owner says they did valve lash recently.
New distributor. Previous owner says new plugs & wires.
When I go to start the car when air temp is warmer (and it starts up and runs good), seems like the starting takes a second or two longer, like fuel needs to get somewhere. Not sure.
