Default Recent ignition interlock install causing problems

So I had an ignition interlock installed in my 2001 Honda civic yesterday and after leaving the shop my horn started blaring non stop even after I turned my car off. So I turned right around and went back to the shop and while the horn finally quit blaring as I pulled up to it, now my horn does not work whatsoever and then my gear shift got stuck and apparently my brake lights stopped working which was not the case before the install!! So the technician opens the hood and finds that my brake lights fuse had blown and when he replaced it the new one blew immediately, he took the interlock wire off of my horn and replaced the fuse once more which worked until I got home but he’s saying I have a short somewhere in the car that caused it but everything was fine before the install could it be the interlock technician doing a crappy job that caused this issue or is what he’s saying correct because I feel they should fix the problem if they caused it?
