the other day i was driving home and i noticed the rpm gauge bouncing from 9k-2k pretty much all over the place, it then stalled and wouldn’t start, fuel pump is priming and engine is cranking i was wondering if anyone has had this issue and could point me in the right direction

 

It is likely the ICM... and I suggest you replace the coil at the same time.

 

i have a distributor rotor and new a new ignition coil and coil leads aswell as spark plugs
