Recently purchase 2011 crv
And knew it before getting it, has green coolant likely prestone, done by the shop that did a bunch of work on it before we got it.
Yeah if they can't do that right what else is not right? Anyway has anyone used that in their Honda vehicle and for how long and any problems?
I plan to flush it out, I just wish there was a block drain port, because it looks like about a 1/2 gallon is left in the engine after draining the system.

If you are flushing it, why would there be coolant left over?
keep flushing until you are happy. Drain and fill
with distilled until satisfied. I use hose water but many will advise against. Have used green in a few Honda’s and never had a problem

The reason there will some left in it is that is what the book says.
Well yeah its just going to take a bunch of expensive distilled water, and stupid time to fill up run and drain over and over.
And in the end not all will be removed because a half gallon will always stay in the engine.
ALSO the Honda coolant says add NO WATER, but there will be a half gallon of water left in the engine after the draining is over.
So then what to do? spend $150 or more for more antifreeze to waste and time and gas to warm up and then drain etc etc.
When all it needed is a STUPID BLOCK DRAIN PLUG.
If I ever have to do a rebuild on this or similar engine I will be adding a block drain plug.
I'm sure the nut that put the green crap in didn't flush nothing so it has some funky mixture for coolant now.
Sorry I'm so infuriated over the engineering stupidity these days. Its like its designed to be wasteful and expensive to accomplish a simple deal.
After writing this I took a mirror and looked, there maybe a block drain I can not tell for sure.
