Hi all, CR-v noob here.

TLDR version - a kind soul suggested it's a 'welded' clutch pack (clutch disks fused together) which is consistent with everything I've seen so far. So it turns out a bad 2nd clutch is stopping the other gears from working correctly. The plan now is to swap in a used lower mileage one, which could turn into a plus if/when I sell the car.
