I have been given a 1977 xl125 k3 with ignition problems ! it will not run with the ignition wired up to the stator ? it will fire but not rev out. Wire it up direct to the battery and it runs fine. The stator has bee rewound , all the timings have been checked and are all ok , tried different coils , it is as if the timing is out when connected to the stator? any ideas i am lost now never had this problem with any Honda in the past.
