Default Oil Pressure

As many years as I have played with cars, I have never ran into a thread compatibility issue with oil pressure sensors before now.
What is the fitting size/thread on a D16z6 oil pressure port?
I bought a "T" to add another gauge, and it doesn't want to cooperate...

Any info is appreciated. B)

Fairly sure they are British pipe threads.

No. It is 1/8” BSPT. NPT is just similar enough to let the threads start, after that you have a bad time.

it WILL jam, it WILL leak, it WILL ruin the threads on the block for future use. It also likely will crack the boss on the block if you try to torque it past the point where the threads jams. The thread count on 1/8 NPT is one tpi coarser and so it deforms the threads in the block on its way to jamming in place.

if you have an NPT sensor you can get a stainless adapter from eBay for <$10 shipped.

Well, British.

Wait until you decide to start using Bosch sensors in your builds and they're M10x1.0!
