205/50/15 vs. 195/55/15?
I did a search and just came up more confused.
I have a 92 Si at stock height. I am looking to get Kuhmo 712's. Will I get wheel rub with 205's. What if I have a couple extra people in the car?
Advice? Recommendations?

i have 205/50-15 Azenis with a 2 finger gap all around and i rub in the rear. I have a 40mm offset. I suggest 205/50's in the front and 195/55-15's in the rear.
Also Azenis are actually wider than what they say on the sidewall.
just my $0.02

what about the kuhmo's, if azenis rub and are wider than they say, will 205 kuhmo's rub?
Please help, I can't seem to make up my mind on this one.
look and the rear wheel well. There is a little metal tab where ther bumper and rear quarter panel screw together to hold it, just bend that tab inward and that will get rid of the rubbing. I've done it and done it fir everyone I know who had that problem and it worked.

Anyone else have an opinion?

I had 205/50/15 kuhmos on 15x7" slipstreams with 40mm offset on my ek with an approx. 2.75" drop and never rubbed.
205/50/15 S-03s and no rubbing at all (H&R sport springs). Here is a pic:
They have a sidewall the is a few mm shorter than the 55 series, but they are about 3/4 of an inch wider. Give you a little curb protection also.

I have my eg lowered w/skunkworks coilovers and I have a set of Falken ZE502 205/50/15 on a set of SI wheels and I have know problem what so ever. Depending on where you live in MD, we could meet up so you can see for yourself.
Either get 205/50 or 195/50, 195/55 will kill the acceleration since they are taller than both of those.
None will rub.
