Icon5 2014 Accord, Pioneer install, more options?

G'Day fellow Honda Enthusiasts, & perhaps Audio Enthusiasts,

Yesterday I had Crutchfield install Pioneer TS-Z65C in my doors & to be honest I was kind of put off by how LOUD & high-pitched the tweeters are.
I wish I'd gone with the TS-Z65CH, which has a -3dB attenuation setting in the crossover.

The speaker in the rear deck is a nearly decade-old Polk Db651s, & seems to only do mids & highs, no lows. If I try to make it do lows via the crossover in my 50 Watts/channel Rockford amp, it's just flab.

I like the bass response of the woofers in the Z65C kit, but the treble is just a wee bit too much.
If I blend back to the Polks a little & step down the treble -1 in the Honda in-dash (original) it seems about right, but then I lose a little of the great bass I had.

Maybe I'm just being nitpicky, because earlier I thought there was just too much treble on This is Now by Hatebreed, but then I plugged it into youtube at home on my Bose speakers & it had that same almost hissy top-end.
When a great bassline comes on, that sounds better than before: No More Tears - Ozzy, Hellraiser - Motörhead.

Just throwing this out there to get opinions, as I'm crossing my mind over what to do next or to just suffice with the less than stellar rear deck speakers.
Is their position in the vehicle making them sound that way?
All of my speakers have baffles behind/under them, by the way. (except the tweeters, obviously)

I have considered getting the next model down TS-D65C, which has almost the same response in the woofer, but a cheaper less loud tweeter, & them moving the woofer of the Z65C set to the rear deck.
or I could just buy another Z65C set & only use the woofer in the rear. Either way I'd be forfeiting a set of tweeters.

I assume that without a crossover installed on the rears those woofers would get the full-range & probably produce at least some more highs than if the crossover were present.
