Exterior door trim

So I'm thinking About taking off my exterior body trim pieces and bondoing it 2 a smooth look. What are the pros and cons to do this?

I think it just personal preference. Or if you want to keep the car stock. Else i don't think any cons or pros are there of removing the exterior trim and filling it. If you think it looks great then go ahead.
