1995 Accord F22b1 engine cylinder one misfiring
My accord has a F22b1 engine at 202000 miles it has ran fine until a family member added a quart of oil over the dipsticks top notch and drove it about 100 miles quite hard. Nothing a Honda usually can't take mind you, after receiving it back it has been ideling really low and misfiring on the cylinder closest to the distributor. The issue is my plugs get really soaked with I'm guessing oil and stopping spark. I put a spare spark plug into the cylinder and it started up just fine but smoked white all out the exhaust. After it warmed up it was smoking a lot less but not misfiring (confirmed by pulling sparkplug wire) I drove it normal to work and it started misfiring about 9 miles away only when i stopped. It doesn't seem to affect the performance outside of the 1400 range. But I guess that's because it still has about 150 compression all around. I'm lost as to what to do and would appreciate any help I can get into diagnosing the issue
Hi I solved this issue myself, the high oil pressure pushed oil into my distributor and pretty much ruined it. I replaced the dizzy from rock auto and it runs perfectly
