Mateo8 Introduction
Hello everyone, I have been a long time forum member of tons of car forums, but first time in a Honda forum. The decision to join this forum is I am looking at an '07 Accord i4 6-speed this weekend and need to do my research on the car before I commit to go look at it.
A little about me:
- My first car was a Buick and drove that until it had 262k miles on it
- My second car, which I sold to my dad, was a TJ Wrangler 6 speed, that too this day doesn't have 100k miles
- My third car was a '97 4Runner 5-speed with a factory locker, drove that until 291k miles (sold in June, unfortunately)
- My current daily, is a '00 BMW 540it RHD Eurosport, which has 237k miles and does not work well with an office that has a badge scanner to enter the garage (no working AC and the unwillingness to fix it before I convert it is no help either)
I am not afraid of high milage cars, as long as they are well cared for, since OBDII I believe all engines have the opportunity to hit 500k miles. I am mechanically inclined and the most in depth I have gone it replacing the heads on my BMW, I find it relaxing as I don't have to work with a computer (most of the time).
I hope my weekend goes well and gets me into the world of Honda
