Hello I have a 1998 Honda civic with a d16y7 yesterday I hear a Radom pop noise and now when I turn on my A/c my car idles so hard and shakes my engine and makes a screeching noise any ideas on what it could be ?also when A/c is on the rpm’s go up and down. I’m thinking it’s the A/c compressor any ideas ?

 

Compressor locking up and/or you have a belt issue.
