Default 2000 Civic EK9 Coupe K24 Auto Swap

  1. Hello, i got a 2000 Civic EK9 Coupe with a ZC 1.6 engine with auto transmission. I also got a K24 Engine with a auto transmission and want to do the swap to the civic. I know there are a lot of those's civic's with K engines but it is posible to also do the auto tranny swap to it? I ask a few people about this but they havent seen this type of swap yet.

Custom mounts and axles. Will need the PCM and wire harness that matches the engine and transmission pairing. These will all need to be from the same vehicle. There will be no tuning options so you will need to make the PCM think it's still in whatever car it came from. All emissions systems will need to function.

The auto transmission is also huge. Not sure it will physically fit between the frame horns.

Are you thinking TSX? That PCM is CAN bus and you would need to retain the drive by wire. Makes integration to an EK difficult.

Accord/CR-V/Element as long as you got something new enough to be the 5 speed auto. The 4 speed sucks so hard. Those were still more like the RSX PCM with digital outputs for the gauges. But now you are only at 160hp not the 205hp.

Yeah TSX, i buy the engine and transmission from a supplier of jdm engines and transmissions from japan. The transmission is the 5 speed.
