D15b7 flooding or losing ignition?
So this little civic has been skipping time on me recently, belt has jumped a tooth or two 3 different times. It’s a d15b7 block, y7 head, and yes I got the shorter belt. I just took it all down, put a new timing belt on it and a new tensioner spring. Ran great upon startup but didn’t even make it around the neighborhood once before shutting off on me and blowing gray smoke out the tailpipe. Verified she’s still in time, let it sit up overnight and it fired up no problem the next day. Havent driven it any more but yesterday I ran leak down, all 4 cylinders passed. Spark plugs were black and smelled strongly of fuel. Think it’s flooding out somehow? Or maybe losing ignition once it gets hot? I let it idle in the driveway for 30 minutes and had no issue. Just lookin for a little push in the right direction. Thanks
