Meet Sully, my 1994 Accord EX 5spd VTEC. He's a little rusty
I'm mostly making this post to document my progress with the car, but any advice as to his "quirks" would be greatly appreciated.
It's got 304xxx with what I assume is the original engine and transmission. Runs great for the most part and has yet to let me down. Unlike my newer "more reliable" vehicles. So far all I've done is fix problems that I've been able to find. One of the rear calipers. Both pads/rotors and all the rear brake hoses. Which has so far fixed my intermittent ABS light that I have no other info on. I've replaced the missing exhaust with a Spec-D N1 catback system. I've installed a pioneer head unit and fixed a couple other minor issues that were present. Most notable of which is getting the A/C operational.
Which leads me to my next major issue. After sitting for a few hours, first acceleration and only when the A/C is on. He likes to sputter. And the best way I can describe the sputtering is if you turn the key off and on rapidly while driving. After the initial sputtering it drives like normal. 25-30 minutes in the speedometer goes wonky and cuts out (diagnosed on my other post), 30-ish minutes in light misfire-like jumping before a check engine light and a high idle. Fixed by turning it off and back on again before returning 5-15 minutes later.
I never could get the check engine light to flash a code for me despite jumping the plug under the dash like so many posts suggest.
Anyway that's where I'm at so far. Again, mostly made the post as a documentary to my progress but any advice is appreciated. New brakes Interior New exhaust

Been fixing more things and just driving it. Took a few beauty shots (all outdated sadly)
Got a bunch of missing body pieces and things that were just missing. Also got the busted drivers door replaced Beauty Shot
I've found some oil leaks so I'm planning on taking the car under the knife. Front/Rear main seals are leaking. Input and output shaft seals are leaking. Throw-out bearing is making noise and its coming up on time for a timing kit. So I plan to pull the motor and fix everything that's wrong all at once. Next is lowering it and putting some nicer wheels and tires. Focal F-20
