2005 Civic fuel pressure
I've searched the forum threads and although the information is likely there...I cannot find it!
Can someone please advise where I can connect a fuel pressure gauge to my 2005 Civic to check the pressure. What is the spec for normal pressure?
Thanks.

I ended up taking the line off the top of the fuel tank and adapting a hose to connect to my fuel pressure gauge. I've got 45 PSI at the pump. I assume this should be sufficient for the system???
This is my cousin's car and she says it will intermittently stop running when she stops at an intersection. I had to rescue her today, and it seemed that the car would only start when I held my foot on the accelerator a bit. When it did start running, I had to keep it above 1000 RPM to keep it running. It would not stay running at an idle. I drove it home about 10 miles. When I was driving did not notice any drivability issues or lack of power from the engine. By the time I got home, the engine was running and idling fine. Any thoughts??

It was a while back but I believe it was a stuck EGR valve. Cleaned it out and freed it up and the car ran fine afterwards.
The owner has since retired the car....417,000 kms and the motor finally said, "I've had enough". She came to the yard with a miss fire. I did a ignition system check...OK. Fuel injector was working fine. Compression check showed a bit more than 50 PSI on all but No. 1 cylinder! No. 1 did not have any compression. I thought I might get lucky and find a broken valve spring or something, but no. Looks like the rings were broken. She decided to buy another vehicle.
Let me know if cleaning the EGR valve rectifies your issue. Good luck.
