Why would it be leaking where i have the thread sealer painted on? It's new from jack spania racing, goes into a fuel hose. I don't know how to fix it or stop the leak

 

Just get a new one. Those fittings aren't $1000.

 

I ended up thinking it was leaking because the flare had a knick that was ripping the washer inside the fitting. So i cut the tube to re-flare it. But I can't get my summit 37° flare tool to work. What tool works on 6AN lines / 3/8" lines, that i can use with the line still on car in tight spot?

 

You can use an adjustable wrench. If you're worried about knicking the fitting, just use a towel around it to minimize damage.

 

What do i do with the adjustable wrench?

 

 

I fixed it, I was following this video and at 8:39 i was leaking because he's telling people to use stock npt fitting with a an fitting? Idk why u guys are showing me those wrenches.
