D16y8 swap in an 89si
Sorry if this has been asked but I couldn’t find the info I needed I want to know what clutch to buy for this do I buy a y8 or a6 I’m using the cable trans that came with the car because my pockets aren’t that deep

You buy the clutch for your tranny.
I recommend just getting a new flywheel so you don't have to deal with the oddity of an 89 clutch and flywheel, all the 90+ d series flywheels are the same anyway.
