Default Does anyone have any tricks for adding load condition to stationary engine?

I have an oil leak that doesn't happen until the car's driving down the road, so to locate it I need to mimic that by somehow adding load to the stationary engine. Does anyone have any tricks for accomplishing that?

If it's an automatic you can put it in gear, press on the brake pedal as hard as you can, then slowly add throttle.

You can use the same process then but the car will need to be on jack stands.
