Hey everyone,
We recently picked up a sweet little 81 Accord 5 speed for my daughter as her 1st car.
It runs great, but it sits really high in the front.
At 1st, I thought the rear end was sagging... but, I think the front end is actually cranked up way to high, like nearly 2" more than the rear?
Near as I can tell, it's torsion bars up front.
I put some new tires on it yesterday, & the front tires sit in at the bottom quite a bit (positive camber).
Are these cars supposed to be setup like that?
Unfortunately, there's just not alot of other 81 Hondas around here anymore to compare it to.

 

Every new driver I have ever known, myself included, dinged or dented their car. Is that what you are ready to subject this museum-quality piece to? get her a 2002 accord to beat around, keep this one in the garage! I haven't seen one in such shape, ever.
