Default Tuning an 1990 Honda

hi so i have a 1990 Honda Civic LX with an D15B2 Engine and i think it has the PM5 ecu,
i want to use honda tuning suite for tuning it but tell me if theres another program that i can use and also what device should i use

It's not mentioned plainly anywhere on the website, but I'm assuming to use Honda Tuning Suite you'll need at minimum a chipped ECU and a chip burner. It is basically just config software for building/editing the tune that would then get burned (or uploaded if so equipped) to the modified, tunable ECU.

As far as I'm aware there is no chipping solution for PM5 ECUs.

D15B2 is a good engine to leave alone. You could have a little fun with a custom wet nitrous system until spontaneous disassembly. then swap in something worthwhile. That's a fun chassis so a swap would be worth the effort.

even cobra rtp? in their website they say it supports obd0 and obd1? and if theres no chipping solution that supports PM5 can i swap only the ecu?
