Default 98 ek civic

So I bought a project civic and I’m coming across some starting problems. The vehicle is a 98 civic with a d15b7 swap it has an obd2a distributor and an auto p06 obd1 ecu. My question or dilemma is, does firing order change between obd1 and obd2. And if it does which one should I use. Thanks in advance.

Firing order is the same. 1-3-4-2.

was it running when you bought it, or do you know if it ran on this setup at any time?

The car ran really bad cuz it was missing the vapor canister. I replaced that and got an ex engine harness cuz I eventually want to run a vtec head. When I did that I took the distributor off so I can have more room to run the harness. I didn’t pay too much attention to the way the wires ran and that’s why I think I’m having issues getting it start it again. I have inconclusive info on what order should be followed since the engine is from a 94 civic and the distributor is from 98 civic ex. How should the wires be on the distributor side??
