My car d16y5 swap has been idle bouncing. when the car is cold temp it operates as normal but when it warms up and i give it gas the idle likes to stick at 1.5k - 2k (normal is ~750rpm) until i pick up under the gas pedal with my foot and pull up the idle drops to ~250 rpms almost dying anyone have an idea of what it is, had ce light for water temp sensor i replaced it only ce light for o2 but its been that way for months please any help appreciated

 

Have you checked and cleaned the throttle cable spring on throttle body?
If your cable it tight and the throttle plate is sticky with gunk, it may not be returning to home position causing a high idle until you force it with pulling the gas pedal up.

 

Check your throttle components and look at your intake manifold. I had a idle problem when one of the hoses got old
