I am replacing a vss wiring harness and tried a couple times and blew some fuses. Before I ruin the rest of my electrical components, maybe someone can help. The three wires from the car are Black/yellow, blue/white and grey. My new harness has green, black and red wires.
I attached a multimeter to the car wires, and one had around 6 volts, another fluctuated, and the last had none (the others went 'weeee' all the way home &#128515.
How can I be sure to wire this correctly?

The VSS wires are:

Blk/Yel - 12 volt power from driver side under-dash Fuse No. 6
Blk - Ground from G101
Blu/Whit - VSS output signal
