Accidentaly touch starter pos with clutch hose metal for a milisec (ground).
Hi guys
i was replacing my clutch pump hose and i accidentaly touched the starter pos with my clutch pump hose(metal) for a milisec(twice) & caused a little spark and i immediately remove the negative pos terminal on battery.
Car starts fine nothing weird .
Checked all fuse(unde hood & under dash) all good. Checked battery, ground & alternator . Everything is working well …
fuel pump relay, lamp, interior accesory, radio everything is working fine . Nothing’s wrong.
I even remove my ecu casing and see if anything is burnt but everything seems fine .
So should i be worrying for anything ?

there is always a weakest link, sometimes that link is the connection to the ground that you just made.
It sounds like you got lucky and only scared the crap out of yourself.
The fuse you would have blown would have prevented cranking.

My clutch pump hose the metal part where we tigthen down the pressure screw touched the starter pos cable I think it contacted part of the starter .
So the main concern here is should i be double checking or worry about anything ?
