Bought a 1993 Integra LS recently. It has 260k miles on it and has a few quirks. I was hoping to find some answers here. Since I have bought it I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, distributor, IACV, and engine air intake. I have adjusted the timing because the guy I bought it from told me that it had been advanced some. The idle was a little low, and trying to adjust that lead me to find that the IACV was bad. From everything that I have read, the idle should be between 700-800rpm. When my car drops down to 750rpm or lower it sounds like the car is trying to shake itself apart. Currently I have the idle adjusted about 100-150rpm high to keep it from dipping into the "rough zone". Oh, and is it true that these cars cannot have an ac flush done to them because of rubber ac lines? This is what a mechanic has told me.
