Where to start. Well first off I’ve been a member here for like 20 years, been outta the Honda game for a little bit but it never left my soul.

I am hoping with the help of the ITR community I can track down my old R and possibly buy it back, and do a full ground up restoration. I’ve found a little info on it and I’ll share everything I know about it and have about it and hopefully someone here knows of the whereabouts or knows who currently has it.

I have the vin I can share if anyone thinks it will help.
here is what I know.

shortly after I sold the car the person who bought it totaled it in a head on collision in VA. The car was totaled by insurance and ended up at IAA in Winchester IL. It was sold and purchased some time around February of 2013. Then it kinda went off the grid for several years, and I ran a carfax and couple other vin reports on it with hopes of locating it and it appears that it has been titled in NY back in May of 2021. It doesn’t give me any more info than that. So it’s possible it’s still in NY.
