Default Fuel Filter Leaking, Looks slightly differnt

Hey everyone,
I changed my fuel filter and when I tried starting the car some fuel sprayed from the banjo bolt. I tightened it down more and still got a small leak as the car runs and when I turn it off from the built up pressure. I noticed
that the fuel filter is slightly different than the old one

Old Filter: You can see the crush washer sits above the face of the filter

New Filter: The crush washer sits flush with the face of the oil filter. I'm thinking that this isn't letting the washer be crushed and letting my fuel leak. What do you guys think? Should I try a thicker washer or should I find a filter that has the same face as my older filter? I am using the new washers on the new filter BTW. Any advice would be great thanks!

ALSO for future reference how do I resize pictures for future reference Thanks again.

Try using one of the old washers and double up the washers on the fuel filter side of the fuel feed line/banjo bolt opening. Otherwise, you may want to purchase a genuine OE Honda fuel filter and not use the aftermarket one that you have pictured.
