I have an 2003 honda civic ex 1.7 sohc vtech, this morning on my way to work I was told my tail lights weren't working. I pulled into the closet gas station, with my light switch on I have no tail lights no front running lights but the break lights work an so do the turn signals front an rear I also do t have any lights working from the ac/ fan controls not sure if it's a blown fuse or the switch is bad or a bad wire/ connector. Haven't had time to try an diag but any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

like normal diag confirm the bulbs are out, from there test fuses that power each system maybe theres a relay that powers all of them which could explain why all those loads aren't working at the same time. next id shake the wiring around to make sure it's not an open or short in the wiring harness. if you have a dmm you can always check of the bulbs are even getting power that could help determine if the switch is even activating lmk how it goes.
