Icon5 Crazy Swap Ideas

I have just acquired a 97 honda accord, and I'm looking for some help on swapping the engine, getting the engine out is no problem its just deciding what I want to put into it. I'm wanting to put some overkill American engine in it, I'm talking a 200-horse minimum. I'm sure such an idea is taboo but I want to make some fun and stupid that I have no problem making clearance modifications on.

To mount anything longitudinally, you would have to completely redesign the entire front suspension, subframe, steering rack setup, firewall, etc. Basically redesign the car. If you want some "overkill" "American" engine, just buy something with a V8. It'll be much, much less expensive in the long run.

And also a basic H22 swap will put out 200hp.
