Good evening everyone. I am from New Port a Rickey Florida and new to this forum. I am a owner of several model Honda motorcycles . A 1975 CB750 1987 Honda Elite moped a 2021 Honda Recon ATV and now a new owner of a 2004 Honda Ruckus. I wanted to ask anyone who has experience with the Ruckus. I just picked it up for $300 from my neighbor. It sat for years and only has 64 miles on it. I have a new tank carb fuel pump and hoses on order. I haven’t gotten it running yet. I’m reading about some engine issues with models later than 2005. Anyone shed some light on this? Thank you in advance..

 

I know that the ones before 2006 have poor engine ventilation so if they're only used for short trips the oil collects contaminants quickly and it can be bad for the crank bearings and as a result the crankshaft. Besides that just make sure the airbox is sealing fully. I dunno anything else unfortunately.
