Default Eliminating the charcoal canister and EVAP line in a 99 Si

I know there's a few posts on here on this topic, but is there process that works with pictures and there's no gasoline smell? I'm in the process of replacing my gas and brake lines on my '99 Si and want to see if I can kill two birds with one stone. The first bird being rusty lines the second being the P1457 code.

Well, if you've got a P1457 that means you're still running the original ecu which means you'll never get rid of the CEL with a deleted evap system.

Your car is relatively stock. Why delete the evap?

No, it won't add more power. It just makes your car dirtier. The only positive is one less thing in your engine bay.

No. The entire purpose of the charcoal canister is to arrest the gasoline vapors so they can be consumed by the engine. If you get rid of that, you will have a gas smell.
