D15b swapped crx no spark
I have an 88 crx that was swapped with a Jdm d15b it was running decent kind of had an idle fluctuation when cold but I took it on a 40 mile round trip drive let it sit for a couple hours went out started it let it warm up and started to head out again then it died and hasn’t started since I narrowed it down to no spark and replaced parts in my dizzy based on reading past problems that other people have had and nothing so I caved and bought a new dizzy for it still nothing I used a voltmeter and everything was good but no spark to my wires or plugs does anyone have some insight that they could give me I’m getting irritated cause it’s not getting spark
you did confirm the camshaft is turning when trying to start? easy way is to pull the dist. cap off, unplug the distributor to prevent damage then run the starter while watching the dist. rotor.
if all electrical connections at the distributor are good and ECU is good (seeing sensor inputs and power from main relay ect.) it could still be a mechanical issue like a broken timing belt.
