Default Generic Technical Question: Amps and Cutoff Switches

This is a very generic automotive technical question. I could post this in on any automotive forum. Here goes...

What is the nominal current draw across the cables between the battery and the starter?
I can't find the specific current draw rating in the service manual for a 2018 6cyl Accord.

Reason for my question: I want to install a cut-off switch into the circuit. The switch is rated at ~300amps--a typical max rating for this sort of thing, The battery is rated at 800amps or so sez the sticker. Full current will pass thru the switch at startup. My concern should be obvious here.

You're not going to run it on the main power side, only on the solenoid circuit so how much the starter produces is irrelevant.

In-rush current(peak) on most 4-6 cylinder engines is around 600A to 800A. Nominal cranking current is around 150A-200A.

Starter solenoid current is around 40A-50A
