Hey guys.

at the first I will start of with that I’m from Sweden so my English is not perfect but I will try at least.

I just did a ac install on my del sol vti b16a2.
it came without ac from factory.

and the kit came from a civic mb6,
All parts are the same like an civic eg.

anyway I’ve installed the kit, and got alot the parts.
after refilling the system it won’t turn on when I push the ac button.

I checked the relays and measure them, they work.
Tested the fan to condensor. Works.
also tested the compressor it work.
and testing I did put 12volt direct to the part.
and A also got 12volt in the ac harness in the engine bay, that connects behind the left headlight.
my Car it’s a 92 so I also had to do thermostad with to make it 3 pins instead of 2 pins inside the car.

the biggest problem that the system get no signal to turn on when I push the ac button.

I came to a point that my ideas are empty, checked all the wires 100 times.

 

Make sure your ECU harness has pins for the AC compressor clutch and the switch populated. If it didn't come with AC from the factory they may not have put in those wires, which would explain why it works when you jump it but not when you press the button.
