Default Is there a way to tune a ob2a automatic civic

Hi everyone,
I just picked up an automatic 1998 civic dx hatch, and like everyone else, I want to tune and modify it. I have read that an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness will not work even when using an automatic obd1 due to the obd1 cars controlling the transmission in a different way. Because the tcm is integrated into the ecu a couple people have run dual ecus in their accords and preludes, one to control the engine and one to control the transmission, but never in the civic platform yet. My goal is to use my original obd2a ecu to run the transmission and a p28 or p06(which I plan to put an s300 in eventually). Please offer any suggestions if you think this is possible.

would it be possible to use this harness to run this harness with an obd2a --->obd2b before it to convert? I understand it is for a crv, but the pinouts of civic and integra(which I'm assuming is the same as the crv because b series) ecus seem so similar that I think it might work.

PS imma noob it's my first post Icon7

That harness is only for obd2b. Either swap the transmission or buy a manual trans car.

Not worth the time & money, to be brutally honest. Chris is 100% right here.
