D16y8 3k idle
I had this issue with my 99 ek, I replaced iacv several times, went as far as replacing all the sensor tied in with it such as tps, maf, iat and even a new TB gasket. Then went to pull a parts as a final attempt because maybe it's a honda genuine thing. Eventually me and a friend thought maybe turn the idle down using the idle set screw. Ever since then it's been just fine. I got the idle down to the 700 range sometimes it'll idle lower but hasn't stalled. It might work for you, it's worth a shot. Since it's worked for me I haven't messed with it anymore and it runs just fine now with no issues but I'm eventually going to replace the TB it's self and intake gasket to see if that was the issue.
I would agree with @99-EK
After swap the map sensor will not auto adjust. You would need the screw driver and pair of mechanic hands to get to the throttle body Idle settings.
