Driver side oil leaks where?
Been having a issue with oil leak on driver side ofy 2002 Honda Accord coupe lx 4cy
it's at shop asked mechanic to look and see what or where its coming from also having him do compression check as well. But I do have leak on left side just not sure where from...anyone have any suggestions or tips to locate it or them?

Okay I replaced the valve cover gasket I replaced the oil pan gasket by a year ago so I'm doubting it's those two but my question is if it's the crankshaft seal or anything like that inside where the belts are and the timing chain wouldn't it be oil in there same with the crankshaft we're not crankshaft I'm sorry with the camshaft seal would not stay inside the valve cover just asking. Best I can tell I don't have any oil leaks up above the oil pan gasket but I'm not 100% sure I can't get the car on high enough to really look at it real good so I had the mechanic put it up on the lift and have him check it and kind of go from there
Your engine does not have a timing chain. It has a belt. Both the crankshaft and camshaft seals will leak outwards into what is supposed to be an oil free area behind the timing covers. They will drip down and leak out of the bottom of the lower timing cover if they are bad. Same story with the balance shaft seals.

I'll check those.
