D16A6 head gasket recommendation
Replacing the head gasket on my 1991 Honda Civic Si (1.6L).
Some Honda forum members recommend using a multi-steel head gasket on my D16A6, with part# 12251-P01-004 (for D16Y8), instead of a composite head gasket with part# 12251-PM5-S02 (for D16A6).
Honda no longer sells the "Y8" Genuine Honda head gasket (part# 12251-P01-004) so not sure what is a good alternative to a Genuine Honda head gasket.
Which type of head gasket would be less likely to blow?
