Can someone please give me a solid answer about how many rails I need to swap out in order for the GSR buckets to fit in a ‘99 hatch.

I swapped in the ‘99 hatch rails on each seat but only the ones closest to the armrest which is what I’ve read everywhere. The end result was somehow the passenger seat adjust fine but the drivers side won’t move. I’ve determined that it’s because the steel wire that goes from one rail to the other will only mount on an angle and won’t pull the teeth open to allow the seat to slide. Make sense? Now I’m told I need to switch both rails!
