Hello friends,
I need help here. I have a 2009 Honda Oddessey that is giving fault code P1298 high voltage in electronic load detector. I have checked the alternator, i have checked the wiring harnesses with ground and i have checked the ECM/PCM but to no avail. can somebody help me here, i have working on this for a week now and i just cant figure it out. Any input is highly appreciated, what have i overlooked or what do i need to recheck? Please help!

 

if you have a scan tool that read data list, check the to see if you have 0.2a or less and if so check wiring at eld terminal 1 and the body ground. Since you have inspected the wiring and etc and not found an issue it will more than likely have to replace the under hood fuse/relay box.
