Hello all, I have finally decided to make my fun weekend car that has been long neglected into a fully restored daily driver.
The main thing I need your help with tackling, is what is the best way to handle fully installing a A/C system into my 91 CRX DX.
I've tried researching but it seems like there are so many different opinions/options, and it all varies depending on what system you had, what refrigerant you want/need to use and what chassis, motor, radiator and exhaust manifold you have.
B/c I have a B16 and half sized radiator, my main questions are:
1. Am I able to keep the half sized radiator and DC sports header and just do an a/c setup from something like the Del Sol SI or 99 civic SI? or do I need to revert back to a full sized radiator and OEM exhaust manifold?
2. Depending on the answer to question 1, what A/C compressor and components should I get? the original 91 CRX stuff or another vehicles?
Helpful info about my setup:
91 CRX DXB16a JDM motor with a LSD transmission w/ Hasport hydro to cable conversion
Header is DC sports
