02 accord 2.3 leaking oil

Default 02 accord 2.3 leaking oil

I got an accord with the 2.3 leaking oil idk whether it’s the oil pan or leak is coming from somewhere else just trynna find some help and clarity if it’s the gasket on the oil pan or not

from the picture posted, this looks like it's coming from under the timing belt cover.

there are four seals in there that could leak oil- crankshaft seal, front balance shaft, rear balance shaft (o-ring) and camshaft seal.

If you decide to fix, plan for the timing belt also. at minimum do all four seals, timing belt and balancer belt. If I were doing this on my personal vehicle I would also do a valve cover gasket set and distributor O-ring as those tend to have about the same lifespan as the aforementioned seals. So if they aren't leaking, they may start soon.

Depending on mileage and service history, it may be a good opportunity to do a new water pump and thermostat.
