A/C Head Scratcher - SOLVED
A/C doesn’t work. Compressor clutch engages, fan turns on
Outside Temp: 75 degrees F, Humidity: 44%
static pressure (A/C off): high side and low side both 95 psi
A/C on: high side = 107 psi, low side 37 psi
technically with this outside ambient temp and humidity, the pressures on high and low are NORMAL right? But what I’m confused about is that the high side pressure only increases by 10-15 psi. Is this abnormal? Or just a normal variant.
If my system seems to be operating normally then I’ll dive deeper into looking at wether the A/C dash switch and blend door actuator are working. Thanks!!

The Freon charge was confirmed at OE spec, 19oz. I ended up just doing the entire AC system. New compressor, condenser, drier, and TXV. Also flushed all the lines and evaporator. Pretty sure the problem was a stuck open TXV. When I tore into the dash, there were a few little metal steel ***** at the inlet of the evaporator. These steel ***** are the ones inside the TXV.
